Flinders Research Centre for Coastal and Catchment Environments (FR3cE) is a cross-disciplinary research centre of Flinders University that focusses on our most precious resource - water.

The Centre brings together 35 academic staff from three Faculties with demonstrable high-quality research expertise in all aspects of the water cycle.

This unique, broad multi-disciplinary capability provides new research-based knowledge and innovative solutions that support the sustainable management of catchment, coastal and marine environments in South Australia and elsewhere.

Meet a Researcher

Dr Sabine Dittmann

I am a senior lecturer in marine biology in the School of Biological Sciences.

My research interests are coastal ecosystems, especially intertidal and estuarine areas, where I have a particular focus in the biology and community ecology of soft-bottom benthic organisms.
